The 10th anniversary of the marvel universe film has not only brought together some of the most unlikely superheroes, but also brought in black panther, avengers: infinity war, ant-man 2: the hornet lady and venom. In addition to these surprises, Marvel x Vans brought fans a big co-branded Marvel x Vans in June. Recently, the two sides of the new joint also surfaced.
Different from the previous collaboration, this collaboration is planned and launched by Vans Japan branch and Marvel, which USES two classic shoe styles modified in Japan, Old Skool and Slip-On. Unlike before, there were no Vans shoes featuring Marvel’s iconic superheroes. Instead, the iconic Marvel Logo was covered in black, white and red.
Black suede covers the top and heel of Old Skool shoes. Sidestripe in the same color leather on the side goes through the Marvel Logo pattern with white characters on the red background. The shoelaces are matched with the same black suede. The Marvel Logo, which is also very prominent and representative, is also filled with Slip-On upper, only the heel is made of black suede material, and details such as elastic belt and rolling edge are also treated in black.
Both pairs of shoes were paired with the same red waterline pattern as the body. The insoles and insoles are black, and the insoles are filled with the white Marvel Logo. The cloth Logo” Marvel Logo” was sewn on the inside and the rectangular Vans Logo with black words on the grey background was also sewn on the heel of the insole, which was a typical Vans Japan branch processing method.
Marvel x Vans “Marvel Logo” 2018 joint series will be officially launched On December 1, with Old Skool selling at 8100 JPY (tax inclusive) and Slip-On selling at 7020 JPY (tax inclusive).
