To celebrate the 10th anniversary of marvel universe films, marvel studios of the United States and Vans in June this year brought together a grand collaboration to present the superheroes that fans love. As 2018 draws to a close, Vans Japan has teamed up with Marvel again to bring a new line of collaboration with two classic shoe styles, Old Skool and Slip-On.
At the beginning of each Marvel movie, Marvel will combine its Logo with the original picture of the movie, which will give people a shocking visual feeling and deep impression. Similarly, the Vans Japan collaboration did not include any superhero elements in the two pairs of shoes, but instead featured the Marvel Logo on the vamos in red, white and black. Both the Old Skool shoe side and Slip-On upper are regularly arranged with many “Marvel” caps in English in red and white characters, while the insole is presented in black and white.
Not only is the Marvel Logo prominently featured, but Vans Old Skool’s toe cap and two pairs of shoes are made of black suede at the heel. The LACES of Old Skool and the Slip-On tongue edge are also processed in black. The inside of the shoe is also filled with a circle of black soft leather. The red edge waterline is matched with the white outsole edge to match the color of the shoe body.
Besides two pairs of adult shoe style, still rolled out two pairs of children’s shoes together. Just like the adult shoes, the two pairs of children’s shoes are also covered by Marvel Logo. The Old Skool children’s shoes add a black magic stick at the tongue of the shoes, and Slip-On adds a black canvas at the heel, as a detail for children to wear and take off.
Marvel x Vans “Marvel Logo” 2018 joint series will be officially launched On December 1, with the price of Old Skool 8100 JPY (tax inclusive), Slip On 7020 JPY (tax inclusive), Old Skool children’s shoes 4500 JPY (tax excluded) and Slip On children’s shoes 4000 JPY (tax excluded).
