Vans Style 205 “Checkerboard” 2019 all-new collection

In recent years, Vans has introduced a number of great shoes, such as the Vans Bold Ni new line and Diamo Ni new series. More recently, Vans pulled out a niche pair of Style 205 shoes from its archives and launched a new line that paired them with classic checker patterns.

Style 205 is a pair of shoes that are a little known to the public. It is similar to the classic Old Skool, but its shoelace eyelet is outlined in a curved shape, and Ollie is reinforced in the wear-prone area. The body had neither the Vans Sidestripe “sit” nor the retro Flying v-logo, just a tiny Vans Logo stitched into the middle of the lacing. This extremely niche shoe was actually part of a collaboration with Urban Research Doors two years ago.

This time, Vans covered two pairs of Style 205 shoes with its most classic checker pattern, which was made from 6-ounce canvas in black, white, blue and white. Add pure white rubber reinforcement to the easy wear area of Ollie to enhance the wear resistance of the shoe style. LACES, stitching and outsole hem are all white.
