Union Los Angeles x Vans Vault 2018 joint series

Union Los Angeles, a west coast street store that has incorporated the name “Los Angeles” into its name, has long been known locally. Although Vans does not sell shoes in the store, the two sides launched a joint collection last spring and summer due to its huge influence. This year’s Union LA x Vans Vault collaboration was announced in a preview on social media last month and is due to go on sale this week.

Union Los Angles has also chosen from a wide range of Vans’ high-end classic shoes, and four new pairs of shoes have been made from the Slip On LX, which is easy to Slip off, and the Era LX, which has not been co-branded for a long time. This time, Union LA took Vans’ iconic checkerboard pattern as its inspiration and transformed it into wave point elements.

The black and white wave points are adjacent to each other to create the same visual feeling as the traditional checkerboard pattern, while the Vans Logo and the “UN/LA” text representing Union Los Angeles are dotted with the white wave points, which are respectively presented On Slip On and Era shoes with red and green as the background colors. The rest of the details are covered in white, even the heel is hidden in pure white, with only the side “Vans” cloth emblazoned with a distinctive orange.

The Union Los Angeles x Vans Vault 2018 joint series has been released On the official website. Both OG Slip On LX and OG Era LX are priced at USD 90 each.
