Harry Potter x Vans co-branded collection

Late last month, it was announced that the harry potter series, the “best-selling novel in the world,” would be co-branded with Vans. Vans officials continue to warm up the series today with a preview of the four shoes that will be featured in the deal. They all come from the four houses of Hogwarts, the wizard school of the harry potter books.

The colours and details of the four pairs are sourced from hogwarts’ corresponding houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. In the book, Gryffindor, where harry potter is the main character, put up a pair of sk8-hi, which are made up of diagonal stripes of gold and red, representing the house.

They are presented on canvas on both sides, in contrast to the front and back suede. The Gryffindor lion badge is sewn on the outside of the collar. The iconic blue and white of Ravenclaw is combined into the iconic checker pattern of Vans, covered in the entire body of the Vans Authentic, with details such as the tongue and the hem also in the same colour. The Ravenclaw badge is sewn on the tongue of the shoe.

Hufflepuff’s slipon-style shoes have a more public look, with an all-black top with only two sides of elastic bands and fabric emblazoned with yellow, and the Hufflepuff rabbit logo embroidered with white padding and yellow border over the toe. Finally, Slytherin became the hottest Era shoe of the year, with the whole body covered with imitation snakeskin material, front and back black, middle green, and the “snake” emblem of the college stitched on the tongue of the shoe.
