Nike Basketball and LeBron James is releasing a new LeBron 16 which is inspired by Disney’s ‘Toy Story’, specially Buzz Lightyear. The LeBron 16 takes on a Buzz Lightyear-inspired look with a color palette taken from the character’s colorful space outfit. It features a White knitted upper, leather heel with Silver detailing on the Swoosh and tongues. Purple along the midsole and Volt Green Max Air units completes the Disney theme.
The latest Nike LeBron 16 is set to launch on Feb. 28 on nike.com and at select Nike Basketball retailers. The shoes will retail for $185.
Nike was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports and initially operated as a distributor for the Japanese shoemaker Onitsuka Tiger (now known as Asics). It officially became Nike Inc. in 1971.The Nike swoosh was designed by Portland State University student Carolyn Davidson，The slogan “Just Do It” was inspired by serial killer Gary Gilmore, who said “let’s do it” just before he was executed by a firing squad in 1977.
