NIKE CELEBRATES NEW NYC STORE WITH “NOISE CANCELLING” COLLECTION

Nike is ready to open its doors to its new NYC flagship on Thursday. To celebrate the opening in New York City, a collection of five iconic silhouettes dubbed, “Noise Cancelling” will be available at Nike NYC in limited quantities beginning November 15th. Each silhouette is presented in a classic white-on-white colorway with removable Swooshes to offer a dose of customization. The Air Jordan 1 High is connected to Nigel Sylvester, who burst into the mainstream with a daring image of himself across the tracks at the busy 145th St. subway station. The Air Force 1 Low represents Odell Beckham Jr., with “the catch” that needs no explanation. The Cortez honors Maria Sharapova, who at the age of 19 won her second Grand Slam at the US Open in Flushing Meadows. Finally, the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro represents the Black Mamba, who hushed the MSG crowd by dropping 61 in 2009.
