Despite not making the Playoffs this year, fans can cheer for this Air Jordan 13 “Lakers,” which is slated to debut later this summer. An initial look at the purported model has surfaced, as it commemorates Micheal Jordan and the Chicago Bulls defeating the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1990-91 NBA Finals, which earned MJ’s first NBA Championship.
The sneaker’s overall makeup consists of premium tumbled white leather uppers with the signature quilted overlay prominent across its sides, which is offset by purple nubuck gracing the heel, mudguard and upper section of the midsole. Finally, a black midsole with University Gold accents on the outsole solidify the Lakers theme, while the model’s signature circular holographic logo is placed across the collar.
Retailing for $190, look for this Air Jordan 13 at select Jordan Brand stores and online on July 20.
