Engineered Garments and adidas Consortium To Drop A Limited Ultra Boost

These sneakers use blue and white colouring to make the entire pair of shoes look full of athletic energy.

Daiki Suzuki, the lead designer of Japanese fashion label Engineered Garments, has the distinct ability to blend classic American design language with modernized ideals found in the Asian country’s streetwear aesthetic.

Playing off the idea that Suzuki’s creations are engineered as opposed to designed, the architect has taken his talents to the footwear game once again by way of a collaborative adidas Consortium Ultra BOOST. Created with EG’s fine craftsmanship at the forefront, this UB’s Primeknit upper comes a bit thicker and more durable this time around, dressed in a deep royal blue with three white lateral stripes and a hit of red on its medial side.

For the first time in the illustrious history of the Ultra BOOST, Suzuki has opted to add a revered gum bottom sole into the fold, providing a down home touch in line with Engineered Garment’s tendencies. In customary consortium fashion, a red handshake logo can be seen on the underside of this iteration’s tongue while adidas and EG share branding responsibilities on this offering’s yellow insoles.
